US spot Bitcoin ETFs post best week since April with $1B inflows

The $1B ETF inflow headline is the kind of thing that gets people excited, but let's pump the brakes. BTC is sitting around $64,821, barely moved in 24 hours. If institutions were genuinely desperate for exposure, you'd think the price would show a bit more life than a -0.1% snooze.

My take is this is real demand, but it's not the same as retail FOMO from 2021. These are allocations, not mania. The bullish case is that sticky institutional flows create a softer floor under dips. Our in-house thermometer reads 26°, which is cold — historically that's been a decent zone to accumulate, not chase.

Risk: ETFs are a one-way door. If macro sours, those same inflows can reverse just as fast, and ETFs make selling easier, not harder. Compare this to ETH, which is only seeing +0.1% and trading at $1,915 — the ETF narrative is a Bitcoin story right now, not an altcoin one. I'd rather watch if ETH ever gets a similar week before calling this a broad market shift.

Why the 20% Sell-Off in Dutch Bros Stock Is a Massive Opportunity

My take is this headline is trying to bait dip-buyers, but the 20% drop in $BROS isn't automatically a gift. The market is clearly repricing growth expectations for coffee chains after the post-IPO hype faded. Traders will likely watch the next same-store sales print like hawks — if that number disappoints again, the sell-off isn't done.

Bullish case: Dutch Bros still has a massive unit growth runway versus mature peers like Starbucks ($SBUX), and the stock has been beaten down enough that any positive traffic data could spark a short squeeze. The brand loyalty with young demographics is real.

Risk: consumer spending on $6 lattes is vulnerable if the economy softens, and the company has yet to prove it can maintain margins while expanding. I'd rather wait for an earnings beat before calling it a massive opportunity — a falling knife still cuts.
