HYPE hits record above $90 as Hyperliquid launches manual borrowing

HYPE just printed a record above $90 and honestly this is the most 2021-feeling chart out there. Manual borrowing is the unlock — it turns Hyperliquid from a perp DEX into something closer to a full on-chain credit market, and perp DEX volume has been the one narrative that never really died this cycle.

The 2021 comp is $UNI, but flipped. Uniswap was the giant that stayed a spot AMM while the token just... sat there. Hyperliquid is doing the opposite — shipping leverage and lending so the token accrues fees from the whole stack, not just swaps. That's why I think the market pays up here.

Risk: this is a high-beta bet on one team executing flawlessly, and a perp DEX blowing up on bad debt would be brutal. Compare it to $UNI, where I can see $9 with a 13% rip and feel nothing — HYPE is trading on future earnings, not present ones.

Apple Shares Are Trading Near Record Highs. Can They Climb Further?

Apple sitting near record highs is the kind of headline that quietly matters for basically everyone's 401k or index fund. It's the biggest single weight in the S&P 500 ($SPX), so when $AAPL pushes toward all-time highs, it drags the whole index up with it — you don't need to own Apple directly to feel this.

My bullish read: it's not just hype. Apple keeps printing services revenue and buybacks, which is the stuff that compounds quietly while everyone watches the next product launch. That's the boring engine that keeps grinding.

The risk I'd flag is positioning. Deutsche Bank just came out cautious on the market, and when one mega-cap is carrying the index this hard, any wobble in $AAPL hits the broad tape fast.

Compare it to $NVDA — Nvidia's the growth rocket, Apple's the steady hand. I like owning both flavors, but if you're only in the S&P for Apple's ride, know you're more concentrated than you think.
