Initia halts blockchain after exploit reportedly drains over $2.6M

My take is Initia Network ($INITIA) pulling the plug after this exploit is a harsh reminder how fragile things still are. Around $2.6M gone, and the network's down? That's brutal. Back in the 2020-2021 bull run, we saw things like Terra ($LUNA) crater after its Anchor collapse, and folks lost faith fast. The bearish reason here is simple: trust is everything, and this exploit shatters it. Risk is clear too – if you're using Initia, you're trusting their security, and this proves that trust isn't always guaranteed. Comparing to $ETH, which has had its share of bumps but never just shut down the whole network over an exploit, shows how far we've come and how far we still have to go.

On-chain data hasn't exactly been glowing for $INITIA lately either; its TVL has been dropping for weeks. That institutional flow out? Not great for morale.
